The Corbet Ruck

The Corbet Ruck is ideal when the terrain is challenging, speed is required & the equipment is critical. The Corbet Ruck’s first in class Roll-Out-Expansion (ROE) allows the ruck to function as a daypack (25litres), oversized mountaineering ruck (42litres) & anything in-between. Coupled with the Multi-Mission-Frames (MMFs) the Corbet ruck not only adjusts in size but in frame rigidity & comfort.

The Corbet Ruck’s ROE system provides 2x vertical lines of compression & allows access to the pack via two magnetic easy access Fidlock buckles. 2x lines of horizontal compression are achieved through our Compression Omni-Radial System Tensioner  (CORST) which allows compression as well as MOLLE/ALICE accessory mounting & metal eyelets for lashing.

The Corbet Ruck exterior fabric is a robust 420 denier Nylon additionally lined with lightweight, rigid & water repellent x-pac that can be cut away & used as an emergency signal panel. The Corbet Ruck’s internal laptop/hydration pouch & exterior expandable pockets are both x-pac lined & feature metal eyelets to eject water dust & debris. An additional concealed “Map Pocket” is contained withing the Corbet Ruck’s top flap.

The Corbet Ruck’s shoulder straps are vastly adaptable with multiple points for MOLLE/ALICE attachments, tie-off points for critical gear, & elastic retention. Each strap is fully adjustable for both height & ride, & like the rear pockets features signature Observer leather pull tabs. Shoulder straps are fully removable,  replaceable, & interchangeable with many after-market straps. Each Corbet Ruck includes a removable sternum/trolly bag strap.

Our Multi-Mission-Frame system builds off an SO TECH developed Tegris rigid frame, complementing it with a semi-rigid, breathable foam frame, which offers both increased comfort & structure. The Corbet Ruck can also function comfortably without a frame, ideal for use when packing as checked luggage or traveling light.
